Life Transitions

Reach out and say hello

I’m a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT #94636) with 15 years of experience in private practice, working with teens, college students, young adults, adults, and couples. Based in Berkeley, California, I provide in-person and online therapy for anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, screen and technology overuse, and major life transitions.

My approach is practical, collaborative, and strengths-based, drawing from cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and other evidence-based approaches. While therapy often begins with what is painful or difficult, I believe the strengths and positive qualities we already possess can help us make better choices, repair relationships, adapt to change, and face difficult realities with greater clarity. At the heart of my work is helping clients reframe the way they understand themselves and their circumstances so they can move forward with greater confidence and purpose.

I received my Master’s Degree in Psychology from Santa Clara University and completed three years of postgraduate clinical training at Stanford University Hospital and the VA Palo Alto/National Center for PTSD. My work and perspectives have been featured in TIME, Psychology Today, Inc. Magazine, and Harvard Business Review, and I have appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Network, NPR’s Forum, and SiriusXM Doctor Radio.
